Besides the varieties that were already planted in the vineyards when my grandfather bought the estate, others which I believe perfectly express this region were added in time: native varieties like Schioppettino, Pignolo, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Ribolla Gialla and Friulano, as well as international varieties that thrive in this region, like, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Nero.

Choosing Nature
The quality of a wine starts in the vineyards, thanks to the vineyard management choices you make every day. There are no shortcuts.
The natural next step was to introduce organic viticulture practices.
We grow grass between the rows, to contain the erosion, but more importantly to limit the yields. We apply a minimum fertilization regime and have eliminated treatments that are not strictly necessary.

We currently reach a mean yield of 1 kg per plant of white grapes and 0.5 kg per plant of red grapes.
The yields are very low, and in some cases we lower them even more through partial root drying for some red grape varieties, without compromising the characteristics of the variety.

100% grapes
In the winery, too, we fully respect the fruit, by not applying any clarification or filtering process. The aging of the wine is carried out naturally, in oak for the red wines and in stainless steel tanks for the white wines.
Time allows the wine to find its perfect balance. When, as you taste the wine, it displays its best characteristics, then it is finally ready to be enjoyed and shared with friends.
